Step One: Admit There is a Problem

Well, it's time for a little 12-step action. I am totally addicted to something I got for my birthday. Let me tell you, it was $4.99 well spent. It's a little thing I like to call "Super Mario Brothers" Oh yeah, baby, I've already wasted hours of my life trying to beat level one, and I just got it on Friday. I'm a loser. But I just can't help it. There I am going along so well and bam, the little flying turtle bites me in the a**. So of course I have to try again, and again. Poor Sophie is going to be a Nintendo orphan. The least I could do is abandon her for some current technology. And David's hooked, too. At least we kill off brain cells as one. I just thought I'd let you know what's going on so that if you don't hear from me for a few weeks you'll know why.

Our neighbors are having a contest to see who can get the cops called out more times. Current score: Crazy Diane (next door neighbor): 6 times (once called by me) Obnoxious Family (across the street): 2 times. I'm thinking about starting a fire or something so the cops can come to my house. (Or would that be the fire dept.?)Anyway, more on Crazy Diane another time.

Sophie sends slobbery kisses to you all.

Yes, love the SMB. It's my first video game. I remember being there when my friend Nicold saved the princess for the first time. I thought I was in the presence of greatness. By the way, are those things gorillas or mushrooms?
