Sophie's New Trick(s)

Rarely do I devote an entire post to my infant daughter, but I feel the public deserves to hear of her enduring cuteness from time to time. Sophie, being my very gifted and talented daughter, has many tricks, but her newest one is both clever and fun. We stand in the hall and sneak up on Daddy. Sneak, sneak, sneak, BOO! By the time we get to "BOO", she is cooing and reaching out to surprise Daddy, who is very surprised, and jumps and shouts accordingly. This causes Sophie to erupt into giggles. So, of course, we do it again. And again. And again.

She also can scooch like an army man, sit up with excellent posture, feed herself veggie puffs, smile at anyone who speaks to her and just generally be brilliant and amazing. She is currently working on clapping, waving and pulling herself up to standing position.

I hear her calling me in the other room, so I'm off to play Sneak Up on Daddy. . .Again.

You do have a remarkably adorable child and I am super happy that I got to hang out with her again last month. To the rest of you, eat your hearts out!

I'm so delighted that I will get to see little Miss Sophie next week. And I believe Jo, that's what we call being one upped.
