Take Your Hand Away Now

Can anyone place that quote?

That is the line from the infamous "Girls Only" talk we had during orientation at Wheaton. Does anyone else remember that very serious forum in the chapel with Edee Schulzee and the other female faculty? I'm glad they had that talk with us, but I just remember how funny I thought it was that they made us practice saying to each other: "Take Your Hand Away Now" Was there a please at the end of that statement?

Anyway, it came to mind because I am reading a fabulous book that I wish I had read years ago. It's been floating around since 1992, so I don't know why it's taken so long for me to read it. The book of which I speak: Boundaries by Cloud and Townsend. It's such a great book. In some places I feel as if they have been a fly on the wall of my heart and mind. Anyway, it's a great book (at least the first 2 chapters are) and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Katja, have you read it? I figure you probably have, being in the counseling industry and all.

Well, that's all for now. Hope everyone who is travelling makes it home safely.

That simple phrase has saved me from countless illegitimate children. Thank you Edee!

Read Goodmight Nobody by Jennifer Weiner. Great beach book. Don/t be scared by the back of the book, it's not as dirty as they make it sound.

I haven't read Boundaries, but I have read Boundaries in Dating, written by the same authors... Not that it's doing me any good nowadays.
