TV Tidbits

Just some TV tidbits for your amusement.

Can anyone identify the show/context for this line:
"Did she get off the plane? Did she get off the plane?"
"I got off the plane."
I'll just tell you this, even though I knew what was coming, it still made me cry. Such good memories.

Also, Teddy Geiger (aka "Wayne") from our dearly departed Love Monkey seems to be faring better than the show. I think that is a very interesting way to start a career. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened had the show continued. Anyway, Kel I know you're glad he is going by two names and not the pretentious "Wayne." His name, however, is Teddy.

I am currently sort-of watching "I Love Toys." Anyone else seen it? Very fun. Makes me feel like I was deprived as a child since I didn't have an EasyBake Oven. Although my current oven is slightly reminiscent of one. It did bring back fond memories of my sticker collection.

OK, my Claim to Lame for the weeked is that I watched an entire episode of MTVs "Parental Control" which is where parents pick two people for their child to date in order to get them to break up with his/her current person. It was definitely a train wreck situation: I couldn't stop watching. The girl and her second date got matching tatoos saying "Dude" and "Sweet " on the inside of their lips!! I was horrified.

Well, I also want to add the tally in my neighborhood contest to get the cops called as often as possible. Friday night Obnoxious Family across the street had FIVE cop cars outside, which brings their tally up to three police incidents. Dude, sweet!

That's all for now.

Sarah-
You've stumped me. I'll be working on it. What is Teddy/Wayne up to? Interesting tidbit: he was a finalist for Keith Partridge's role on VH1's Search for the New Partridge Family. Betcha didn't know that.

Sarah, That was an easy reference. That's Ross yelling into his answering machine in the finale of Friends when Rachel was going to move to Paris. At the end of the message he looks up and she is at his door.

Shoot. Can't believe I missed that one! Maybe if we'd played Friends Scene It- I would have remembered.
