Sandi and a Trip Down Memory Lane

Sarah found a Christian girlfriend cruise and guess who is the musical guest perfomer? None other than the famous Sandi Patti herself. Now this brought back a lot of memories. Jo and I singing "Love in Any Language" with our fake sign language. Kristy cringing in pain.

Just in case you forgot some of these golden lyrics, let me refresh your memory:

Love in any language
Straight from the heart
Pulls us all together
Never apart
And once we learn to speak it
All the world will hear
Love in any language
Fluently spoken here

If you would like the full lyrics check out
By the way, this is also where you can find Sandi Patti ring tones for your cell phone. The only person in the universe who I can imagine needing this is Kristy's mom. That is if "Can I Touch You There" by Michael Bolton wasn't available.

So, if you find yourself in difficult circumstances today, just remember that the rhetoric of government may keep us worlds apart, but there's no misinterpreting the language of the heart.

What do you mean, fake sign language? It was the real deal. Mostly.

Stop writing so fast. I can't keep up with my comments. My post is coming in a minute. By the way, it is 11:00 p.m. on a school night for you. You should be in bed.

Apparently I am then the idiot savant of the sign language world.

By the way, it was 1 a.m for you on a work night. You should have been sleeping.

I find it funny that although we weren't staying up late talking on the phone we were both working on our blogs at the exact same time, staying up late.

What are you wearing today? Maybe great minds DO think alike.

I am wearing dark khaki linen pants, sort of a persimmon v-neck sweater with a white tank, and 4-inch sandals. I know you're not matching the shoes. :-)

Navy pants, raspberry sherbert colored v-neck (just trying to best your persimmon) and two inch sandals. Not too bad.

Does nobody care what I'm wearing? I've got on a ratty t-shirt accented with baby food sweet potatoes, sweat pants stained with the blood from my niece's skinned knee and I haven't showered for longer than I care to admit. I think I'm clearly the winner here.

Sars, you're right, you win.

And by the way, Kel, I think Sandi now spells her last name with a 'y.'
