Apparently we're under attack...

...from the weather. It is 74 degrees in St. Louis right now and 31 degrees just across the state in Kansas City. The cold is going to hit us first, followed by rain in the morning, then ice, then snow. The most extreme of the forecasts says that we can expect 10-15 inches by the weekend but I'm not convinced it is going to be that bad. People are in a little bit of a panic though, stocking up on groceries and things. The hotels near my office are offering snow rates in case people can't get home tomorrow night and my normal Thursday night rehearsal at church got moved to tonight. I love warm weather and all but it is December. Maybe I'm missing something but it's not like we live in Oklahoma or Georgia or something where a little dusting of snow means a day off school. I mean, I know this isn't Chicago, but St. Louisans are not ignorant in the ways of inclement weather so I'm not exactly sure what the big deal is. Having said that, you better believe that I will be breaking out the Coat-That-Changed-My-Life starting tonight. I certainly didn't need it today - in fact, I saw people walking around in shorts and capris and sandals - but I have it in the back seat of the truck for when I get out of work tonight.

By the way, I hate Blogger right now. I wrote this nice post - a tribute to my dad for his birthday, some stuff about Chrissy, etc. - and Blogger lost it. It was saved, I saw it posted on our blog, and now it is gone, and in the draft that is saved, there's just a bunch of gibberish that I did not write that is in place of my own words. This has happened multiple times. I am not pleased.

Jo, apparently said weather streak has also hit TX. Today I had the air on. I was burning up. Now its windy and cold. I'm not even sure we'll have Bible Study tomorrow morning. And I'm super-sorry about Blogger. I can feel the agony.

You guys are now getting the cold front we've had for the last couple of days. This morning was 27 degrees, which is legitimately cold. I'm even wearing a turtleneck! This is all good news for me because I get to wear the super cute coat I got last year for $12 (it has kind of a retro diamond shaped print in tan and brown and a pink lining!). I got it last march so I got to wear it exactly once (and even then it was pushing it). Too bad tomorrow it's suppossed to be back up in the sixties.

I too hate blogger. It's doing that thing where it wants to underline everything (I see Katja experienced this problem as well).

We got some crazy rain in CT yesterday. I don't remember ever having seen it come down that hard-I got soaked.
