Plowing into new territory

So E-bay hooked me into finally buying homeschooling curriculum! I've been researching on and off for the past year and found a deal I felt I couldn't refuse, and will now be teaching my oldest son through Sonlight. It's literature-based, so we'll be spending a LOT of time reading. That's what convinced me to go through this curriculum; my boys can spend hours listening to stories. We'll supplement the material to also insure that we use the classical education method taught through books such as The Well-Trained Mind. Now I just need to find a homeschooling group in the area so we can connect with other parents of homeschoolers...
