"Helping"

I came into my room yesterday where Lanie (the 2 year-old I'm babysitting) was allegedly sleeping. She had reached from the pac-n-play and emptied the contents of my sock drawer into it. I walked in, she looked at me and said, "Helping." I said "Yes. Helping."

Soph and I are getting ready for the big trip. I'm trying to find warm things for us to wear. She already has two snowsuits, so we've got that covered.

By the way, I'm training to be an ice dancer. Step one was to put on all the eyeshadow I own. Step two, I'm changing my name to Oksana. I'm ready.

Have any of you read Dorothy Sayers? I am reading her mysteries right now and am thoroughly enjoying myself. If you haven't, try and find them. They are in a series with the main character being Lord Peter Wimsey. The first one is called "Whose Body?"

Well, I gotta go. Hopefully Lanie has not redecorated my wall a la Crayola.

I'm reading Dorothy Sayers too! I finished Unnatural Causes and am on Have His Carcass. I also just finished Undomestic Goddess in one sitting. It's by the Shopaholic author, Sophie Kinsella, and as far as VERY light reading goes, it was fab.

I LOVE Sophie Kinsella. I've read every book of hers that I can find.

I just found out that Sophie Kinsella is her pen name. She has a new one out under her real name Madeleine Wickham called Cocktails for three.
